How to Get Here
By Road
Sowerby Bridge is accesible from Junctions 22 and 24 of the M62. It is a small town on the A58 halfway between Manchester and Leeds.
If you are travelling eastbound on the M62 you can exit at Junction 22 and follow the signs for Ripponden A58. Sowerby Bridge will be more clearly signposted as you travel further along the A58. You can also exit eastbound at Junction 24 as detailed below.
If you are travelling westbound on the M62 you can exit at Junction 24 and head down to the Ainley Top Roundabout. Follow the second exit signposted Halifax A629. As you reach the first signalled junction turn left and follow the signs for Copley and Sowerby Bridge A58.
By Rail
Sowerby Bridge has its own Railway Station that is well connected to the centre of town. It lies on the Calder Valley line. It has regular trains to both Leeds and Manchester which also serves Halifax and Hebden Bridge along the route.
By Bus
Sowerby Bridge is well served by a number of bus services that run through the centre. There is frequent bus service to Halifax Town Centre. Ripponden and Copley are also well connected. There are several bus stops located along the main street.
